The Purpose of ITEC
ITEC (Iowa Technology and Education Connection) is a statewide non-profit organization, established over 50 years ago, that promotes meaningful technology integration in Iowa’s K-12 schools. ITEC works alongside Iowa school districts, the State Department of Education, Iowa Area Education Agencies, Iowa universities, educational technology vendors, and educators to provide professional development and leadership opportunities throughout the state. The organization is led by elected teachers and administrators with expertise in educational technology, with annual elections offering ongoing leadership opportunities for those interested.
