Session DescriptionWebsites need to be informed on how to abide by Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. This course provides practical resources to enable more accessible design and development. It provides the basics required to ensure web accessibility standards are incorporated into the website design or re-development. Participants will gain insight into what online accessibility requires and different requirements needed for various disability groups. To achieve this, technical tools and a variety of options are discussed in achieving specific accessibility goals. Group discussions help reinforce the content learned in the theory sections of this course.
